Camp Half-Blood is not new to storms- they hit Long Island every year, be it Hurricanes or Blizzards. However, the godly barrier always seems to block everything out. Clouds take a detour, and rain slathes away from the grass of the camp. This year, rain falls as easily as it does outside of the camp, and lightning strikes have been reported in the nearby forest.
No one in the camp, even the Councillors know what seems to be the matter, and with the approach of Hurricane Karlos, the campers feel a little uneasy around the open areas, and have started boarding up the big house and the cabins just to be safe.
